Benny Vanderwende

We're part of the agricultural community and committed to preserving the family farm

At Perdue, we never forget that our company began as a family farm. We realize that our business depends upon the local farmers who raise our chickens and turkeys and who provide us with grain. We are part of the agricultural community and are committed to preserving the independent family farm.

Poultry contracts

We recognize that for many farm families, especially those with smaller farms, the income from their poultry contracts is essential to the economic survival of their farm and we are dedicated to helping them succeed. Our poultry contracts isolate farmers from most of the financial risks while providing stable income and rewarding top performers.

Mike Barber

Senior Merchandiser Mike Barber purchases grain for Perdue from local farmers and dealers.

Grain merchandising

Our commitment to local grain origination provides area farmers a local market that offers competitive prices. In addition, our grain merchandising programs help farmers maximize income from all their grain crops.
